I am so excited to share my sight
word home to school program. I call it
Fill your Tub – with sight words.
This is a sight word program that will greatly complement your other
sight word activities in your classroom.
There are some materials and preparation that is involved in getting
this program started, but it will be well worth the effort!!
The program uses the Dolch sight words.
This is the list that is recommended to be used for common core
learning. The Dolch word list has the
most common words that are encountered in children’s books. Sight words are critical in early reading
development because most are hard to sound out or to illustrate.
I have added it to TPT so that it can be added to you "tool belt" to use with your students.
